Se cadere è continuare a precipitare, alla fine si resta immobile, in aria, e si ha l’impressione di stare a galla, senza mai scendere. E’ osservare il movimento, seduto e con distacco, da fermo, frattempo che la macchina corre.
Il sistema inerziale coinvolge l’anima e tutto diviene ancora più lontano, semplicemente per essere ancora più distante, più distaccato, fuori dalla materia, fuori da Cartesio.

If falling means continuing to fall, in the end you remain motionless, in the air, and you have the impression of staying afloat, without ever going down. It is observing the movement, seated and with detachment, from a standstill, while the machine runs.
The inertial system involves the soul and everything becomes even further away, simply to be even more distant, more detached, outside of matter, outside of Descartes.
