Cheung Chau è inside a body“.

“Cheung Chau is suddenly finding oneself in a still world, where one has the impression of not existing and not being where one is, until, suddenly, a mother runs after her child remembering the physical existence of the place.
The day of the island goes on in silence and without cinematic decomposition, to the sight, once, again, that a man like another does not cross an internal gash, desolate and without souls, like a steam train in a “classic” ancient square by De Chirico. Childhood is remembered as a taste for existence in the same way as existence as a metaphysical flavor that must have been.
It is the man with a bag and the other on a bicycle, a cart and a t-shirt, a fan, a bed on top of another and an elderly woman in her intimate interior who makes the island that conceptual work of metaphorical transposition, between the sudden advent of the Madonna of Fatima and the eastern return of gifts to the defuncts, a human catapult without space and time, deposited and anonymous.
Cheung Chau is inside a body“.
