The importance of the geology and geological modeling should be the first step to face in the design activity and for the construction of any infrastructure.
Getting the knowledge of the local geology contributes to the large view of facts that can solve many problems during the construction progress, saving time and money and, at the same time, increasing the safety standard of the entire process afforded.

All these technical deductions bring the critical area exposed to the relative studies useful to the civil engineering field.
Therefore, for several aspects, due the objective circumstances, geology is the base of all our life and its development, included the consequent civil engineering sphere.
Geotechnics has to respond to the Nature because is before servant of the Nature itself and then of the humans.
Geology is Nature.
